You have a dream. Many folks just like you dream to build something worthwhile. Businesses that last long. And perhaps do well enough to leave behind a legacy. 

So that at the 11th hour, you won’t have to worry about your children and your grandchildren. Dreams are powerful. But most shy away from building them. Simply because?

It’s painful to build a dream business. 

If you’ve read this far, firstly, thank you. Secondly, that’s a taste of what I do for a living. I write things interestingly, so that people read. They call me a copywriter. What I do impacts every layer of business. 

In my 6+ years in the advertising industry, I’ve come to recognise that the inside voice of consumers are mostly misunderstood, untapped, but crucially important for any business. Especially businesses with big dreams. 

Most companies who operate well over the 10 year mark still have no clue that this exist. This very ignorance, gives me my edge and a strong reason why I do this for a living.

And I’ve been told, I do it well.

I have freelanced for small to mid-size businesses. I have been employed by agencies and work for big corporations. 

I’ve written adverts for a homegrown karipap brand to brands that influence consumers regionally. I should add, the speed from process to results is way faster with small to mid-sized brands. 

There are a lot of cooks when it comes to big brands. And you know what they say about having too many cooks in the kitchen. 

It was not on purpose, but many of my clientele are in the Fintech industry. Personally, I enjoy writing for e-commerce brands. I’d pick B2C over B2B anyday. 

Connecting big ideas to the person across the street, then seeing their lives change for the better inspires me to become the best in my field. That said, you probably can tell that I obsess over advertising, David Ogilvy, and his peers.
